Ship log updated
A title that surprises and has not left anyone I know who has finished it indifferent.
With impeccable physics and controls, Outer Wilds is an ode to exploration.
A game that has evoked memories of the “Myst” saga, “The Journeyman Project,” and even “Giants: Citizen Kabuto”.
Passing the torch from the people who recommended Outer Wilds to me, please: DO NOT SEARCH ANYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME ON THE INTERNET, although on saveroom you’re safe (pun intended 😅), on the internet there is a high risk of spoilers. I strongly recommend you focus on enjoying it.
If you get stuck at any point, don’t give up, keep your tools in mind, and pay close attention to your surroundings.
An outstanding game. Please, do yourself a favor and play it.
The mysteries presented from the very beginning of the game quickly immerse you in the story.
That it’s a 100% open world with virtually no initial guidelines.
The story. And that’s all I can say hahaha.
The gameplay system is fantastic and allows the player to explore without fear of making mistakes, as a phrase throughout the adventure says: “Fear of failure is a poor reason not to try.”
The sound of Feldspar’s harmonica ❤️.
The freedom of movement is such that it allows us to improvise in critical situations, like jumping from our ship mid-flight.
Something I would have liked is the ability to access the rumor menu from outside the ship, for example, from the suit.
Going without the spacesuit has no advantage; in fact, it’s very limiting. The jump is rigid and unnatural. I spent practically the whole game wrapped up inside it.
